Unless specifically stated, Smileways resins are not intended for use with food, beverages, or any medical applications involving contact with the human body, either externally or internally. Please do not attempt to use printed parts for purposes outside of their designated applications. Smileways offers a range of biocompatible materials. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet and technical documentation for each material to verify its certifications. Always follow the recommended safety precautions provided by Smileways.
2. What are the material properties of Smileways resins?

3. Are Smileways resins gas permeable?
Smileways has not performed testing on gas permeability of our materials. Parts printed on Smileways LCD printers are water-tight and non-porous if they are printed as a sealed, continuous structure.
4. How should resin be stored? What should I do with the leftover resin after printing?
It is not recommended to store resin in the resin vat for an extended period after printing, as this may lead to color separation, which can cause uneven color in future prints. Prolonged storage in the vat may also result in resin leakage and potential damage to the equipment. Leftover resin in the vat can be reused, but it is recommended to filter it into a clean container instead of pouring it back into the original resin bottle. This helps prevent potential contamination.
